In case you missed Saturday’s NYT Mini Crossword puzzle, you can find the answers here:
It’s lazy Sunday — well, it’s almost lazy Sunday. The Sunday NYT Mini Crossword drops on Saturday afternoon, so it’s actually still Saturday but we’re already solving tomorrow’s puzzle so I guess we can consider a this pre-lazy Sunday activity. Time is a flat circle, something something. Let’s solve this Mini!
The NYT Mini is a smaller, quicker, more digestible, bite-sized version of the larger and more challenging NYT Crossword, and unlike its larger sibling, it’s free-to-play without a subscription to The New York Times. You can play it on the web or the app, though you’ll need the app to tackle the archive.

Today’s Mini
The reason this took me 1:37 is I started off all wrong. I put DIVOT into 1-Across instead of CHASM and then DUDE into 1-Down instead of CHAP and once I realize this wouldn’t work I had to redo some stuff. I thought DIVAS could work for 7-Across (instead of AEIOU) but once I got to some of the others like Ben PLATT for 8-Across I realized my mistake.
