Earlier this week former USC Trojan Drake London made the Top 100 NFL player list of 2025. Drake London was named the 97th-best player in the NFL according to the players.
NFL Network’s Bobby Kownack offered analysis of this week’s ranking of players 91-100. He broke down his thoughts on all players named, including rising star Drake London.
“A breakout season led London to break through to the Top 100 for the first time. He paced Atlanta in receiving across the board, a target hog who delivered consistently for the league’s fifth-ranked passing offense. His output across quarterback Michael Penix Jr.’s three starts paints an especially pretty picture for the future: 352 yards and two TDs on a whopping 37.1% target share. Might it only be the beginning for the young Falcons duo? It’s a tantalizing thought.”
Kownack also provided NFL Pro Insight’s statistics on the USC receiver: “Drake London was targeted on 34.9% of his routes run from the slot last season, the highest rate among receivers with at least 150 slot routes run. He gained 555 yards across 45 receptions out of the slot, the sixth-most in the NFL.”
Drake London is one of the more underrated receivers in the NFL. After a career year, and another year without consistent quarterback play in Atlanta, he still showed out big. London has gotten better and the whole league is finally taking notice.
This season — finally having stability at the quarterback position with the Falcons — expect London to assert himself as one of the most dominant receivers in the NFL and become a top-10 receiver in the NFL. Making the Top 100 players list for the first time is a great achievement, but with his talent and his potential, this will be the expectation for him every season.
