LVMH: Jean-Baptiste Voisin and Stéphanie Medioni take on new brand leadership roles

LVMH is accelerating its executive shake-up with a fresh round of leadership changes. After naming Ludovic Pauchard to head its new Industrial and Crafts Division, the group is now reorganizing its brand, retail & strategy division. Jean-Baptiste Voisin, LVMH’s current strategy director, will now lead the brand, retail & strategy division, taking over the LVMH Média Recherche Image teams previously overseen by Mathilde Delhoume. Delhoume will transition the brand leadership role to Stéphanie Medioni, who is set to become the group’s chief brand officer in January 2026.

LVMH has not yet announced Delhoume’s next position but confirmed that, starting in January, she will take on new responsibilities reporting directly to general management. She joined the group in 2017 after a 30-year career at Procter & Gamble, where she held several senior roles, including global director of brand-building integrated communications.

“Mathilde Delhoume has played a crucial role in enhancing the appeal and positioning of our maisons,” wrote CEO Bernard Arnault in an internal note. “With her deep understanding of each brand’s DNA, their customers, and the media landscape, she and her teams have refined positioning, fueled creativity, and improved our ability to connect with consumers.”

Her responsibilities will now be divided. Oversight of brand image will fall to Jean-Baptiste Voisin. A graduate of École Polytechnique and École des Mines de Paris, Voisin joined LVMH in 2006 as strategy director and became a member of the executive committee in 2012. Before that, he spent 10 years at McKinsey & Company. He has also served as president of LVMH Métiers d’Art since 2015, a program he launched to bring together the group’s top suppliers of rare and exceptional materials.

That division is now part of LVMH’s new Industrial and Crafts Division. To focus fully on his new responsibilities within brand, retail & strategy, Voisin will hand over leadership of LVMH Métiers d’Art to Ludovic Pauchard.

On the brand management side, Stéphanie Medioni has been selected to succeed Delhoume. She currently serves as executive president of LVMH’s Perfumes and Cosmetics Division, a position she has held since 2021. She will begin a transition period with Delhoume in early September and officially assume the role of chief brand officer on January 1, 2026. Medioni will report directly to Voisin.

A graduate of ESSEC Business School, Medioni began her career in 1990 at Procter & Gamble, where she rose to become director of the beauty division and a member of the P&G Europe Beauty Executive Committee. After more than 16 years at P&G, she moved to DevanlayLacoste as managing director of international marketing & creation.

Medioni joined LVMH in 2010, starting at Sephora as managing director of Sephora S+. She transitioned to the Perfumes and Cosmetics Division in 2016, where she quickly advanced from head of strategy & development to executive vice president of strategy & operations, before being promoted to executive president of the division.
