Clarks Originals is a big fan of fashion collaborations and its latest is with French fashion footwear brand Phileo. Marking their first venture together, the project links their key brands under the headline ‘Wallabee Plateforme’.

The launch marks “a significant moment for both brands”, celebrating Phileo’s fifth anniversary alongside Clarks’ 200th year. The collaboration also introduces Phileo’s 55555 programme, a series of exclusive launches and events rolling out for AW25.
The collab builds on a “reputation for structural and archetypal design”, with the Wallabee Plateforme “offering a subtle yet intentional version of Clarks Originals’ iconic silhouette”.
Available in two classic colourways (Maple and Black Suede), the shoe “blends heritage with a contemporary perspective”.
As mentioned, collaborations are a key part of Clarks Originals’ DNA and to kick-off the parent brand’s 200th anniversary it chose brooding rock star Liam Gallagher this spring to “breathe new life” into his favourite Clarks Desert Rain brand silhouette, originally launched in the early 2000s.
In March there was a ‘little dreamers’ kid’s collection launch stepping into the world of Roald Dahl.
This year’s celebrations have mainly focused on “Wallabee’s global influence” with an April brand campaign, exclusive product drops, and worldwide activations “that highlight its unique status as an iconic ‘blank canvas’ shoe embraced by communities and subcultures around the world”.
