Hopeful Patriots LB seen training with Raiders Pro Bowl DE Maxx Crosby

New England Patriots linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson was seen working out with Las Vegas Raiders four-time Pro Bowl defensive end Maxx Crosby. A video of the two working out was posted to Chaisson’s Instagram page.

Crosby is one of the best pass-rushers in the NFL. He’s a two-time Second-Team All-Pro with 59.5 career sacks on his resume in six seasons. Chaisson and Crosby were teammates on the Raiders last season.

It was a career-year for the former first-round draft pick, who racked up 32 tackles, five sacks, two pass deflections and one forced fumble in one season with Las Vegas. Chaisson is looking to have a big year in his first season with the Patriots, and working with a top-tier playmaker like Crosby is a step in the right direction.

The Patriots had the worst sack percentage in the NFL last season.

There’s hope that Chaisson and other newly added pieces, including Harold Landry III and Bradyn Swinson, help establish the consistent pass-rushing threat New England desperately needs.
