Get ready for another wild summer, because Big Brother Season 27 kicks off Thursday, July 10. With fierce competitions, secret alliances and backstabbing in store, the 25th anniversary season is shaping up to be more dramatic than ever.
Big Brother is CBS’s long-running reality competition series that follows a group of people living together with no access to the outside world. The house is equipped with more than 100 HD cameras and microphones, recording the contestants’ every move 24/7. Each week, one houseguest is voted out, and the last one standing is awarded the massive $750,000 grand prize.
This year’s theme is Big Brother: A Summer of Mystery, so get ready for lots of twists and turns — including a “masked visitor, a secret accomplice and the shocking arrival of a ‘Mystery Houseguest’ whose identity will remain under wraps … at least for now,” according to Paramount.
Julie Chen Moonves is back to host Season 27, while 17 contestants will enter the house in hopes of winning the $750,000 grand prize. This season’s cast includes a professional bull rider, event curator, marketing manager, AI consultant, aura painter, attorney and a dungeon master.
