Jelly Roll performs live on WWE SmackDown.
WWE SmackDown advertised a live performance by Jelly Roll as WWE continues its rich tradition of celebrity wrestling, whether social awkward Twitter addicts like it or not. Jelly Roll’s appearance resulted in one of the best wrestling segments of the year as Logan Paul interrupted Jelly Roll and called him out for being an outsider. From there, Paul, Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre and Jelly Roll did their part to kick off a feud between Jelly Roll and Logan Paul.
SmackDown also advertised the Wyatt Sicks vs. the Street Profits for the WWE Tag Team Championships, Aleister Black vs. R-Truth and a Alexa Bliss, Sol Ruca, Roxanne Perez and Kairi Sane in a Fatal 4-Way.
Last week’s broadcast of SmackDown did 1.166 million viewers for July 4, 2025.

LA Knight Brawls With MFT
LA Knight opened the show cutting a promo on Seth Rollins, only to be cut off by Paul Heyman. Heyman made fun of the Tennessee crowd for being off-beat while singing along to the “Paul Heyman” intro.
Solo Sikoa and MFT interrupted Heyman, and Solo demanded that Paul get out of his sight. Heyman obliged, partly because the PTSD from being destroyed by the Bloodline.
MFT brawled with LA Knight, but Jimmy Uso evened the odds, setting up a tag team match for later on in the night. Conspicuous by his absence was Tama Tonga.
SmackDown Opening Segment Grade: B
Alexa Bliss Def. Kairi Sane, Sol Ruca And Roxanne Perez
Backstage, Alexa Bliss convinced Charlotte Flair to corner her for this go-home Fatal 4-Way. Alexa clarified that they’re not friends, they’re associates of convenience. You could tell they weren’t friends because Flair was dressed in an all-white cowgirl outfit, while Bliss was dressed in an all-black punk outfit.
Sol Ruca hit an impressive Sol Snatcher on Roxanne Perez, but Raquel Rodriguez put Perez’s foot on the rope.
Alexa Bliss won the match with a Sister Abigail on Kairi Sane, which tells me Bliss and Charlotte have less of a chance to win this Sunday.
Alexa Bliss vs. Kairi Sane vs. Sol Ruca vs. Roxanne Perez Grade: B
The Wyatt Sicks Def. Street Profits
Joe Tessitore talked up how much the Street Profits have changed, almost as if he was talking about a newly minted heel team. In reality, the only thing that has changed about the Street Profits is their theme music.
Both Street Profits were wearing gear inspired by early ’90s Shawn Micheals. The Wyatt Sicks received a strong babyface reaction as well.
Angelo Dawkins made a great comeback, punctuated by a dive to the outside an a Swanton Bomb for a nearfall.
A double-team Blockbuster by the Street Profits earned the match its second “This is awesome!” chant of the night.
Tez missed a Frog Splash on Joe Gacy, leading to a suplex-powerbomb finish as the Wyatt Sicks won the Tag Team Titles.

Jelly Roll Performs Live And Logan Paul Interrupts
Jelly Roll received a warm reception in his home city. His performance was going just fine until Logan Paul interrupted. Massive heat.
Paul called himself a “Real WWE superstar!” Paul made fun of Jelly Roll for making music “for people who have tattoos of his children, but not having custody of them.” Paul, leaning all the way into the hypocrisy, said he was tired of celebrities and influences “Coming into our industry, leaching off of our success!”
Randy Orton cut an awesome promo on Logan Paul for daring to call Jelly Roll an outsider. Paul was cut off mid-promo by a Claymore Kick. As security escorted McIntyre out of the building, Logan Paul pummeled Orton. Jelly Roll, who has better babyface facial expressions than anybody in wrestling not named Cody Rhodes, ripped Paul off Orton to an enormous pop.
Paul fled the ring and tore Jelly Roll’s set apart. This match already has more heat than anything on AEW All In Texas tomorrow. Jelly Roll will be in Randy Orton’s corner tomorrow at Saturday Night’s Main event whet Orton faces Drew McIntyre.
Jelly Roll And Logal Paul Segment Grade: A+
R-Truth Def. Aleister Black
R-Truth, who continues to be popular, came out swinging, but was cutoff by Black a couple times as Wade Barrett talked up Black’s Muay Thai abilities.
Truth grabbed a steel chair, but was thwarted by a knee from Black.
Black teased using the chair, but the referee grabbed the chair from him. R-Truth rolled up Black for the upset win. This was Black’s first pinfall loss since returning to the company.
Backstage, Damian Priest talked Black off a cliff. After calming down, Black walked off, only to return with a knee to Priest’s jaw. After losing to R-Truth clean, in the middle, Black had no choice but to turn heel.
R-Truth Vs. Aleister Black Grade: B-
Trish Stratus And Tiffany Stratton Faceoff
Tiffany Stratton cut a heel promo and suggested that if she beats Trish Stratus, people should consider her the GOAT.
Fans seemed slightly more excited about Trish Stratus in this segment, but neither received an overwhelming reaction.
Trish Stratus vowed to promise Stratusfaction. Stratton then made a “VHS porn tape” joke about Stratus, who fired back with a TikTok joke.
Naomi mercifully interrupted this segment to remind the women about her Money in the Bank briefcase. This led to Jade Cargill attacking Naomi, and yet another brawl separated by security.
Trish Stratus and Tiffany Stratton Faceoff Grade: C
Jimmy Uso And LA Knight Def. MFT (Solo And JT Mateo
MFT dominated early until a hot tag from LA Knight, who went wild on Mateo and Sikoa.
Knight tagged Jimmy Uso before hitting a leaping elbow followed by an Uso Splash for a nearfall.
Fans chanted “Solo sucks!” as he took over the match and worked over Big Jim.
LA Knight was distracted by Heyman, which led to Talla Tonga taking out Knight. A distracted Solo Sikoa was rolled up by Jimmy Uso. Solo berated Heyman, but a distracted Solo walked into a BFT.
Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker laid out LA Knight and stood tall as the night came to an end.
