At the top of the UFC 318 early prelims is a welterweight matchup between Adam Fugitt (10-4) and Islam Dulatov (11-1). This matchup was initially booked for February, but both men withdrew from the card because of injury.
Fugitt is coming off a June 2024 split decision win over Josh Quinlan. He is 2-2 with the UFC. The 29-year-old Crute ended a nearly two year-long break from the Octagon in February when he fought Rodolfo Bellato to a draw in a fun fight at UFC 312. The draw left Crute winless in his past five outings (0-3-2) dating back to April 2021.
The 36-year-old Prachnio has alternated wins and losses in his past six UFC fights. He is coming off a submission loss to Modestas Bukauskas at UFC 304 in July 2024.
This matchup was initially booked for Crute’s return fight in February, but Prachnio withdrew from the matchup.
