With a very good UK summer officially over, Canadian ethical self-tanning brand Saltface is making a timely entry into a country where a healthy glow’s fading.

The Vancouver-born skin-first self-tanning brand has launched on a direct to-consumer website with its “clean, buildable formulas suited to sensitive/acne-prone skin”.

The brand features skincare-led formulas “easy for beginners, precise for pros”. Since its inception, Saltyface says it’s cultivated a loyal community “by delivering a believable, radiant, sun-kissed look with nourishing skincare benefits—without compromise”.

David Menzel, co-founder of Saltyface, said: “From our formulations to our market expansions, every decision we make at Saltyface is intentional. Expanding into the UK feels like a natural next step for a brand founded in Vancouver—a city that, like the UK, is known for its unpredictable, rainy weather.

“As we celebrate five years of building skincare that tans, this launch is a fitting milestone.”

Saltyface claims suitability for all ages and skin types — including sensitive and acne-prone. The brand’s high-performance products “focus on skin health while delivering natural, buildable tan results”.

Signature Saltyface favorites include Liquid Brozer (£32); Tanning Water (£36); Tanning Foam (£48) and Freckle Paint (£20) with wider portfolio prices ranging £20-£124.
