Hermès is replacing its head of investor relations. The maker of luxury leather goods announced that Carole Dupont-Pietri, who has led investor relations at Hermès International SCA for 11 years, will step down next month. Alexandra Boucheron, who previously oversaw investor relations at defense group Thales SA, will take over the role, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg.

A Hermès representative confirmed the change. A Thales spokesperson declined immediate comment. Investor-relations heads typically manage communication with analysts and shareholders.
Hermès shares have risen approximately 800% since Dupont-Pietri joined the company, driven by strong demand for its signature Kelly and Birkin bags, as well as its silk scarves, apparel, and other leather goods. The luxury house now ranks as the second-largest publicly listed company in France by market value and the eighth-largest in Europe.
