French event sales specialist Arlettie has strengthened its senior executive team by appointing Amandine de Souza as COO. She will be working alongside co-founders and co-CEOs Muryel Lanneau and Thibaut Caillemer du Ferrage.

Formerly a consultant with Bain & Co. in Paris, de Souza was the CEO of Westwing France before taking charge of Parisian department store BHV Marais in 2018, also joining its parent company Galeries Lafayette‘s executive committee. She held the post until 2023. She was then appointed managing director of French retailer Leboncoin, where she worked for nearly two years.
de Souza’s mission at Arlettie will be to take charge of business operations and bolster the luxury event sales specialist’s expansion.
de Souza joins the company at a time of robust growth for Arlettie, whose revenue has reportedly increased fourfold in the last four years. Arlettie has established itself as a preferential partner for many fashion and luxury labels, and is now gearing up for a new international expansion phase. The company has showrooms in Paris and London, and is planning to open another in New York by early 2026. Also on the cards, a broader online deployment and a presence in Asia and the Middle East.
Hence the introduction of a COO role, tasked with supporting Arlettie’s growth and ensuring operational consistency across the company’s various activities, ranging from private sales to showrooms and logistics.
The company was set up in 2004 as an event sales showroom located in the Marais district in Paris, under the name Adèle Sand. In 2011, it was rechristened Arlettie, and began to focus on high-end private sales. Since then, Arlettie has progressively expanded, also by means of acquisitions, notably buying the Catherine Max showroom in the Trocadéro area of Paris in 2013.
