London-based luxury gifting platform The Go-To is about to make a briefest of US debuts with an immersive pop-up in the heart of New York’s SoHo this weekend.

The retailer takes on its first-ever physical space on Greene Street across three days (14-16 November), introducing its range of “design-led, meaningful gifting” across ceramics, linen and accessories, “bridging the gap between independent designers and consumers who are looking to celebrate meaningful gifting”.

The store will be a “playful take on a classic New York townhouse” while customising and creating “one-of-a-kind gifts in real time, with on-site engravers, embossers, and embroiderers delivering bespoke personalisation in minutes”.

Joining the pop-up will be a line-up of like-minded brands including Lost Labels, founded by model Daphne Groeneveld, and LA-based fine jewellery brand Ougie.

As part of that “playful” element, the space will also feature a branded claw machine filled with limited-edition prizes from branded pilates socks to leather luggage tags, with a free prize on every purchase. The first 100 shoppers will also receive complimentary flowers, while a photo booth will offer branded snapshots for visitors to take home.

In-store events will also include a wreath-making workshop with a local NYC florist and a pilates class led by a celebrity trainer.
