Joseph Ribkoff announced on Wednesday the appointment of Stephen Belfer as vice president of global sales and business development, and Brett Sugarman as vice president of global marketing to strengthen the company’s global leadership team and support its next phase of international growth.

“Stephen and Brett bring outstanding expertise in building international brands and driving growth. Their leadership will help us accelerate momentum, strengthen our customer connections, and reinforce our position as a global leader in premium contemporary womenswear.”
Belfer joins the company, following twelve years at Marc Cain, where he spearheaded commercial growth initiatives and strategic partnerships across wholesale, retail, and e-commerce. In his new role, Belfer will oversee global sales strategy and business development, enhancing the brand’s presence in key international markets.
Meanwhile, Sugarman brings more than 15 years of experience from Michael Kors, where she led brand communication and consumer engagement strategies. At Joseph Ribkoff as VP of global marketing, she will guide global marketing efforts with a focus on brand storytelling, digital innovation, and deepening consumer engagement.
The Canadian fashion brand offers women’s ready to wear across three distinct labels; Joseph Ribkoff Collection, Joseph Ribkoff Signature and Joseph Ribkoff Sport. It has a presence in more than 65 countries, 35 showrooms and a strong wholesale network of over 3,500 retailers.
