Warriors NBA Draft live updates: Pick results, trade rumors


After a quiet night on Wednesday through the first round of the NBA draft, the Golden State Warriors are expected to make their first selection of 2025 on Thursday night when they hit the clock in the second round of the NBA draft.

Prior to start of the second round, Mike Dunleavy Jr. and Steve Kerr have reportedly already made a move. While they might have to wait a little longer, the Warriors are now set to have two picks in the second round on Thursday.

According to Shams Charania of ESPN, the Warriors have traded the No. 41 overall pick to the Phoenix Suns for picks No. 52 and No. 59.

The Warriors have had recent success in the second round, finding players like Quinten Post, Trayce Jackson-Davis and Gui Santos. In the second round of the 2012, the Warriors selected franchise cornerstone Draymond Green.

Rumors:

  • 9:33 a.m. PT — According to Jake Fischer of The Stein Line and Bleacher Report, the Warriors are open to trading the No. 41 overall pick.

Trades:

  • 3:46 p.m. PT — Warriors trade No. 41 to Phoenix for No. 52 and No. 59 in the second round.
