Just Before Blackpink Returns, One Of Its Members Charts A New Top 40 Smash

In just a few hours, Blackpink will officially return with its new single, “Jump.” The track will mark the first release from the South Korean girl group in years, as the four members have largely focused on their solo careers since dropping Born Pink in 2022. The anticipation for “Jump” — and potentially another collection of some kind from the outfit — is incredibly high just hours before the tune drops.

Just before the world gets to hear what the K-pop superstars have been working on, Rosé returns to the top 40 on multiple charts in the United Kingdom with her latest collaboration. She teamed up with rising star Alex Warren, who first broke all around the world earlier this year with “Ordinary.” That track continues to rule numerous rankings and will likely end 2025 as one of the biggest hits globally. As he prepares his upcoming album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid, which is set to arrive in a little over a week, Warren released “On My Mind,” the latest single from the project, which features the Blackpink singer in a solo capacity.

Rosé’s Second-Highest-Charting Hit

“On My Mind” launches at No. 37 on the Official Singles chart, which ranks the biggest tracks in the U.K. regardless of language, style, or how the British public consumes them.

As it arrives, “On My Mind” immediately becomes Rosé’s second-highest-charting hit on the Official Singles chart, and just her second top 40 placement under her own name. Her breakout smash “Apt.,” a collaboration with Bruno Mars, climbed as high as No. 2. She nearly entered the competitive space back in 2021 with “On the Ground,” which spent one turn at No. 43.

A New Top 40 Bestseller

“On My Mind” also manages to become a top 40 win on both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads charts. The duet launches at Nos. 25 and 22, respectively, earning Rosé her eighth career placement on both purchase-only rosters.

The track only misses that special region on the Official Streaming chart, where it begins its time at No. 68.

Alex Warren Keeps His Winning Streak Going

The newly-released “On My Mind” earns Warren his fifth top 40 smash in the U.K. He has led the Official Singles chart for 13 weeks with “Ordinary,” and he also cracked the top 10 with “Carry You Home” and “Bloodline,” a recent collaboration with Jelly Roll. Both of those tunes peaked at No. 9, while “Burning Down” hit No. 23.

Including this latest duet, Warren has racked up seven appearances on the Official Singles ranking. He may up that count later this summer after his debut album arrives.

“On My Mind” and “Apt.” Chart Together

As “On My Mind” gets going, “Apt.” can still be found on all four of the charts where Rosé’s newest tune begins. In fact, “Apt.” sits just one spot behind “On My Mind” on the Official Singles list and also lives in the top 40 on the streaming and both of the sales rosters.
