Balenciaga opened on Thursday its first-ever Quebec location at Royalmount, Montreal’s new luxury shopping destination.

The 380-square-meter space houses the latest Balenciaga collections across men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, footwear, bags, jewelry, eyewear, and accessories, offering Quebec shoppers full access to the brand’s design language.
The store’s design follows the house’s experiential Raw Architecture concept. The design philosophy questions traditional notions of luxury by celebrating exposed structural elements and prioritizing adaptive reuse of existing materials, reinforcing Balenciaga’s ongoing commitment to sustainable construction.
Notably, the store’s facade is characterized by a white-lit Balenciaga signage on a bare concrete façade. Inside, industrial details like poured concrete floors, smoked-glass partitions, and steel clothing rails meet softer textures including tactile beige carpeting, plush leather seating, and draped ecru curtains. Completing the space are raw metal tables and extruded aluminium shelving, alongside deliberately exposed ceiling grids and lighting systems overhead.
Balenciaga joins several other luxury brands at Royalmount including Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Golden Goose, and more.
